Eagle has the advantages and benefits of being an Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act 8(a) contractor. BBNC, our parent company, was formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of December 18, 1971. It is made up of 8,000 shareholders who are Eskimo, Indian and Aleut. The Bristol Bay region is 150 miles southwest of Anchorage, Alaska, and is 40,000 square miles in size.
